Tuition:

Our program runs from September through May. Tuition is not based on the number of classes, but rather on a yearly fee for the total of classes provided in our dance season. Recital costumes and tickets are not included in the tuition because not all classes and students participate in the production.

Tuition is for the full dance year. There is a $45 membership fee per student.

Rules & Policies

Placement: Students are placed according to age and ability. If at any time the teacher feels that the placement is inappropriate, you will be notified and the situation will be corrected. The first priority is to place children where they will progress, with the day and time of class secondary. Please try to be flexible with scheduling so your child can make the most of his or her dance experience.

Promptness: Please arrive five minutes prior to class to be ready to start on time. This encourages good manners and responsible behavior since latecomers can be distracting to the other students in the class. Change into dance shoes before coming into the classroom.

Attendance: Good attendance is necessary to insure maximum progress and enjoyment of the class.

Absence/Make-up: There are no tuition refunds. Students will be given the opportunity to attend make-up classes during specified announced weeks.

Snow Policy: We will send an e-mail on bad weather days, or you can call the Dance Center one hour prior to your class and there will be a message on the answering machine.

Notices: Current information will be e-mailed and sent home periodically. The latest notice is always posted on the office window in the reception area. Please ask sitters to be aware of these notices.

Food: Food and beverages are not allowed in the dance classroom at any time.

Toys: We request that children leave all toys at home so that they will not be misplaced, left behind, or attract other students.

Dance Attire: All students are required to wear proper dance attire and dance shoes for every class. (See reverse for Dress Code.) For your convenience, our boutique stocks a selection of dance apparel and shoes. Hair should be tied neatly back away from the eyes and face. Please mark students' names on all personal belongings.  Articles left behind will be placed in the Lost and Found cubbies in the reception area. Street shoes or black shoes are not permitted on the dance floor.

PLEASE HAVE CHILDREN DRESSED FOR DANCE CLASS BEFORE
ARRIVING AT THE STUDIO.

Classroom Regulations:
All one-hour classes are drop-off. This encourages the children to socialize with one another, to focus on verbal and visual communication from the teacher, and most important, to gain a sense of purpose and independence.

For everyone's safety, all parents, siblings, or guests dropping off or picking up are required to remain in the waiting areas. The stairs must be kept clear.

Before class: Students should arrive 5 minutes before class and wait in the waiting room for class to begin. They should come to the studio dressed for class. Running in the hallways is not permitted.

During class: Students are not allowed to enter or leave the classroom without permission of the teacher in charge of their class. Family members, friends, or visitors are not permitted in the classroom during class. Siblings must wait with parents or sitters in the waiting room. They cannot be left unattended and are not permitted to play in the hallway, the office, or in any classroom.

After class: Students must wait in the reception area for a parent or guardian. For safety reasons, students must not leave the Dance Center without a parent or guardian.

Valuables: Do not leave valuables in the cubbies. Cell phones may be brought into the classroom, but must be completely turned OFF.
STUDIO B IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR LOST OR STOLEN ARTICLES.
